JINGO Release Live Video For A.D.D

The first time Jingo played live they were supporting Blur’s Graham Coxon and not a lot of bands have got that on their CV’s. Since then, Amazing Radio, BBC London introducing and a whole host of tastemakers have been singing their praises and rightly so.

Here is the extraordinary live version of their latest single ‘A.D.D.’ which was recorded at the renowned Soup Studios (Daughter, Johnny Flynn, The Kills, The Maccabees, Roots Manuva). The video demonstrates perfectly the raw talent JINGO are rapidly becoming renowned for.

D’Angelo and the Vanguard Cover Prince’s She’s Always In My Hair

Nothing quite compares to the joy we get when we see one of our favourite bands covering another one of our favourite bands and it comes together like some beautiful musical marriage. I mean, we’ve all seen Avril Lavigne covering Ke$ha in the Live Lounge (half joking). Anyway, hot off the heels of their album Black Messiah which blew up all over the world,  D’Angelo and the Vanguard have covered the Prince classic ‘She’s Always In My Hair’ for Spotify Sessions and it’s just as good as you think it’s going to be. Have a listen via Spotify below and be prepared to fall in love.

Earl Sweatshirt On Jimmy Kimmel

Earl Sweatshirt appeared on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing a snippet of recent tracks ‘AM // Radio’

Earl Sweatshirt appearing on what is, essentially, a family TV show might seem a little bit weird seeing as Odd Future were widely criticised supposedly inciting violence by their fans towards members of the public… but hey, maybe times have changed. There is, of course, no denying that Earl Sweatshirt is a serious artist and never fails to impress. Don’t mind those haters, ES.

‘AM // Radio’ is taken from his most recent album ‘I don’t like shit, I don’t go outside’. The circumstances surrounding the album release were less than ideal for the artist with Columbia Records supposedly announcing the LP without his permission.

Speaking about the situation he said:

“Brah, I was devastated,” Earl told NPR Music. “I was so mad cause it was like – especially because I feel like this is my first album. This is the first thing that I’ve said that I fully stand behind, like the good and the bad of it. I’ve never been behind myself this much. So for them to not treat as importantly as I was treating it was just like – I couldn’t help but to feel a little disrespected, you know?

HANA is set to tour with Claire Boucher and Lana Del Rey soon on their Endless Summer tour.

Honestly, I love him. It all makes me laugh my head off.”

Watch the video for Hourglass below.
